Suture Tech - September 2024

Khadijat was very encouraging during my shift, which helped to turn and previous terrible day into the best shift I've had. She let me go up to the helipad to help unload a critical patient with the staff, and she gave positive feedback while I was doing my first facial lac. Fantastic shift!

I was able to close a laceration on this young ladies leg that she self-inflicted due to depression. I shared some of my experiences with her and was able to talk about her mental health. It was rewarding to both physically and psychologically help her.
