Although moving and unloading people’s stuff sounds like labor, it was actually very enjoyable. I was able to make connections with a few freshman and get to know some returning students. The hours flew by so much that I didn’t even notice I stayed one more hour than scheduled. Overall, I would say this helped the students move-ins be a lot easier as well as help the volunteers form relationships.
