Second time at Wellness and Stress...it never disappoints. Very grateful for the chance to practice running patient encounters, especially with patients who have complex needs. I think the most impactful patient I saw that night was a man with bipolar. I don't meet many people with that diagnosis, or perhpaps I know many people with that diagnosis but they don't act in a way that's consistent with my perception of bipolar. This was a very kind man, very knowledgeable about his health and medications. While his mental health problems have taken a toll on his life, it is clear that he is an autonomous man who is very grateful for every bit of health he can get.
