2023 Starry Nights at Shelby Farms Park

Starry Nights is such a great way to get some service done. It was super easy and I enjoyed my time there. I have done this a couple of times in the past few years so it wasn’t difficult to understand.
1. What impact do you think your service has on you personally?
-I just think it was pretty enjoyable. I enjoyed when people would have smiles on their faces as they were driving by. Even though I just directed traffic, I liked answering questions anyone would ask.
2. Did you work individually or as part of a team during your service? How did that impact your experience?
- I worked individually, what I did was meant for a one person job but I did have my boyfriend close by so it just made my time there feel like I was barely even there. I thought it was fun and people would wave all the time and it would just make me happy.
3. Do you plan to continue volunteering with this organization? Why or why not?
-Well since I’ve volunteered at Starry nights for a few years now, I would say that I’d volunteer again. I’ll maybe go back during the winter break.
