Serving with a Smile (LUNCH) at Room in the Inn (2023-24)

My service directly impacted those in need. I helped deliver fish sticks and strawberries to the arts and crafts room. I also spent my time communicating with the guests that I was serving and the people that were part of the organization. my experience today solidified my love for people. Which further my clarification that I would like to be a nurse. I enjoyed talking to everyone during my service. I met and served this lovely lady named Ms. C, we talked about art. I also talked to Chris who was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Every time I volunteer here I always meet amazing people and I am reminded to be grateful for everything I have . my service directly aligned with my personal value of helping those in need. I will volunteer here again and again
