At this event I helped clean up a lot of trash nearby the Poultry Science Building on campus. This helps the campus look a whole lot cleaner and helps the environment, as leaving trash around the area can hurt the wildlife on campus. What I took away from this experience is that a lot of people fail to realize how much of an impact they make every time they litter. I hope that one day, people will realize how detrimental to the environment littering is.

It was interesting picking up trash in or around the poultry building. There was a lot more trash than I expected at the creek near the trail head.
