While i was at Feed the Block I helped prepare the plates of food! It brought joy to me to see all the happy people that were able to get food!

Feed the Block is such a nice program! While volunteering, I helped make plates and pack bags of food for people to come get. Everyone here is also really nice and hopeful!

Going into the event, I thought I would actually be serving food to the community. Instead, we put together food boxes for Door Dash to deliver to the community. While I would have enjoyed working directly with the community, I enjoyed serving with the organizers of the organization and other volunteers.
