I really enjoyed getting to help out the Full Circle Food Pantry at the Red and White Spring Football game. As a volunteer, I was in charge of standing in front of our food collection bins and handing out flyers to those interested in the Full Circle Food Pantry. Along with this, I got to greet several excited football fans before and during the game. My shift was from right before the game started and through two quarters of the game. It was a really enjoyable experience, and I will definitely be volunteering for the Food Pantry again in the near future.
We stood outside the stadium at gate 12 and took food donations for the Full Circle Food Pantry during the spring football game. I was able to meet some cool new people during it too. It was awesome being able to help the food pantry during their SEC food fight competition.
I stood outside gate 15 of the stadium waiting for food donations. I was there from 12:30 to 3 PM. This volunteering helped people suffering from food insecurity. My takeaway from this is that food insecurity is a big problem and I should volunteer for similar events in the future.
