I volunteered for the Catholic Charities of West Tennessee. The mission was to help provide the homeless population with much needed clothes. The organizers seemed very gracious for the help and were happy I was there. I helped fold clothes and put them in bins when they were delivered and also hang up clothes that were ready to go out. I learned that the Church provides a shopping experience for the homeless population and they can pick out out certain ones that they like. I worked as a part of team during my experience, they gave me directions on what I was supposed to do and they were overall very friendly. I definitely will volunteer with them again because I believe in their mission and I think it is actually doing good in the community.
