Compost Cultivation Volunteer Day!

Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm
What to Bring: Water proof boots that can get submerged in compost (Beale Street Music Fest style), gloves, water, whatever you need to be in the sun (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
Bring warm clothes, it will be cold, but turning compost will warm you up!
Volunteer Activities Might Include:
1) Turning the compost with shovels and pitchforks
2) Feeding leaves into a hopper and shredding
3) Clearing out overgrown areas at site
4) Screening finished compost and putting into bags for subscription members and customers
Thank you for volunteering with The Compost Fairy, and being a part of waste reduction by creating organic material to feed the earth!
Volunteers will be emailed the location the week of the event. The site is located just south of Midtown.
