Calling all volunteers! Memphis' most delicious event, Taste of the District, is back and we need your help making sure everyone gets to the event and checks in smoothly!
Taste of the District is an annual food festival celebrating the vibrant culinary scene in Memphis' Medical District! This year's event is Tuesday, October 6th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Medical District Park.
If manning a check-in table and directing people are up your alley we want YOU to join us! All volunteers will receive a free ticket to Taste of the District which sells out each and every year!
Details are below:
- Description: This group will scan the Eventbrite tickets, check ID's for VIP ticket holders, give wristbands for VIP/General Admission, and assist with line control.
- 3:45 pm - 4:45 pm - 5 people
- 4:40 pm - 5:40 pm - 5 people
- 5:30 pm - 6:00 pm - 1 person
- 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm - 1 person
- Specific person for Grizzlies Prep students/one guardian AND walk up tickets. For walk up tickets, this volunteer will instruct attendees who don't have a ticket, to purchase a ticket via a QR code that leads to Eventbrite. They will then scan the ticket once the attendee can show them the code and give the appropriate wristband color.
