Volunteer Opportunity: MICR Rugby Field Grand Opening Volunteer

Memphis Inner City Rugby (MICR) is preparing to celebrate an exciting milestone — the Grand Opening of the new MICR Rugby Field — and we’re looking for volunteers to help make the day a success.

Join us as we welcome students, families, supporters, and community members for a day of celebration and activities at our new home. Volunteers will play an important role in helping the event run smoothly and creating a fun, welcoming experience for everyone who attends.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Assisting with event setup
• Helping run kids’ games and activities
• Staffing activity stations (such as bounce house entry and other family activities)
• Greeting and directing guests
• Assisting with general event support and day-of needs

We are still finalizing activities and event details, so specific volunteer assignments will be determined closer to the event date.

No rugby experience is required. There will be many ways to help throughout the day, regardless of your background. Volunteers with rugby experience are welcome, and we may be able to place you at rugby-related activities or demonstrations if interested.
