Volunteers will work with Carson Ellis, curator of the Butterfly Garden, as stewards of the Botanic Garden’s native plant collections and wildlife habitats. Efforts will be focused on the restoration of our Wildflower Woodland, and on maintenance in the Butterfly Garden. Volunteers should be prepared for physically rigorous work, including tasks such as weeding, pruning, mulching, and planting. Afterwards, volunteers are invited to celebrate a good day’s work with local brews in the Garden (for ages 21 and up, only). This volunteer work group is limited to 15. For more info, contact Carson Ellis at 636-4134 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
