About
Hello everyone, in partnership with the Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Interest group and the Association of Women Surgeons, we are excited to offer the first (and maybe only) surgical interest group sponsored suture workshop for the year. This event will be guided by a faculty trauma surgeon and surgical residents.
Our main goal with this event is to facilitate the opportunity to learn the basics of suturing to build your pre-clinical skillset.
The tentative logistics for this event are as follows:
Date: Thursday, 9/4/2025
Time: 5:00p - 8:00p (If demand is high, we will split this into two time slots: 5-6:30p and 6:30-8:00p)
Room: GEB B225 – B228 (2nd floor B-wing of the GEB)
Note, if we have less than 64 sign-ups, then we will all start at 5p (unless otherwise stated). We have the room reserved until 8p, though I do not expect it to take this long.
