This deconstruction event, also known as a “harvest,” involves carefully removing reusable materials from a home or structure so they can be repurposed or sold at our ReStore. It’s a hands-on and sustainability-focused project that helps reduce waste and supports future Habitat builds.

Volunteer Rules & Expectations:

• Volunteers must be 18 years or older

• Closed-toe shoes and work-appropriate clothing are required

• Gloves, eye protection, and tools will be provided (feel free to bring your own if preferred)

• Must be able to lift and move materials (some physical labor involved)

• A safety briefing will be conducted at the beginning of the shift
