Flex Volunteer Day – What to Expect
A Flex Volunteer Day is a unique opportunity to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Arkansas when we have potential but not guaranteed project needs. These days are built into our schedule to accommodate shifting construction timelines, weather delays, or unexpected build opportunities.
Here’s what you need to know:

You can sign up in advance just like a regular volunteer day.

However, there is a higher chance that the project may change or be canceled due to construction updates.

We will do our best to notify you 24–48 hours in advance if your shift changes or is canceled.

If the project moves forward as planned, you’ll have the same hands-on experience and impact as a typical build day!
Flex Volunteer Days are perfect for those who are adaptable and eager to jump in where needed most. Thank you for your flexibility and support as we work to build homes, communities, and hope across Northwest Arkansas!
Location: Will be included with confirmation of sign-up email.
For your safety and comfort, please wear modest, functional clothing that can get dirty, along with closed-toe shoes. Drinks and snacks will be provided by PepsiCo.
Inclement Weather Policy:
Safety is our top priority. In the event of severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, lightning, or extreme heat), we may delay the start or cancel the build day. Any weather-related changes will be communicated via email and/or text the night before the build. Please check your messages before heading to the site.
