Description
Firefly Glow is a large end-of-summer party! It features many different parts- including:
-The Illumination Station: bright face art and day-glo washable hair color will make you look awesome for our party!

-In the Glow Lab: watch demonstrations on making comets, watch fire pull an egg through a bottle, discover pollination through an interactive glow demo, Play in the glow bubbles, make fluorescent slime, be amazed at the real Fluorescent rock show!

-Make a Glowing Firefly friend to take home.

-Dance at the Lightning Bug Light Show

-Go on a fanciful forest walk to find Secret Glowing Fairy houses

-Learn how to help Fireflies live in happy habitats

Volunteers will assist staff in creating a fun environment for guests!

Requirements
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes that can get dirty.
Bug spray and sunscreen if needed.

Clothing or accessories may not display offensive, vulgar language or images,
nor promote inappropriate and/or illegal products such as alcohol, tobacco, and
illegal drugs. No shorts or skirts shorter than four (4) inches above the knee are allowed.Shirts, blouses, and dresses must completely cover the abdomen, back, and shoulders. No midriff or undergarments visible. The Garden Staff reserves the right to determine whether a volunteer's attire
and appearance are within the limits of decency, modesty, and safety.

Expectations: Volunteers are required to complete all Hold Harmless agreements before participating in the volunteer event, including parent/guardian signatures for minors. Volunteers are also expected to comply to all Memphis Botanic Garden standards and staff/representative instructions. Failure to comply may result in removal from volunteer activity and non-verification of volunteer hours.
