MLK Day of Service 2024

Join Shelby Farms Park Conservancy in observing MLK’s legacy on January 15, 2024. We are celebrating this historical day by inviting the community to join us in an all day community event of service. We will be mulching trees, pulling privets, cleaning up limbs on the Greenline, and filling potholes at the Dog Park.

Volunteers will be out OUTSIDE during this project. Please wear comfortable closed toed shoes and clothes fit for outdoor work. Volunteers are recommended to bring their own water bottles. 
Physical ability to perform required tasks and work outdoors in extreme environmental conditions.

You will be provided with gloves and the tools needed to perform the tasks. We look forward to seeing you on this day of service.
