Help maintain our teaching gardens with Farmer Paul on Wednesdays!
Volunteers will help maintain our farm through garden tasks such as harvesting, watering, weeding, and any other seasonal projects. You will have a chance to work alongside our Farmer Paul and learn tips and tricks about maintaining a vegetable garden. These tasks help us in our mission towards empowering young minds with the knowledge and skills needed to live healthy lives.
Parking is available in the Gulley Park parking lot off of Old Wire Road. From there, it’s a short walk north to the gates of the Apple Seeds Teaching Farm. View a Google map of the parking lot and route to the farm here.
We'll all gather at the Red Barn sign in. You’re welcome to stay for a quick volunteer session or work alongside the whole time soaking up all the garden knowledge—whatever works best for you! We recommend wearing clothes that can get dirty (including shoes that may get muddy), bringing a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen.
