About
Become a Soup Sunday volunteer; this is the 34th year that Soup Sunday has served gallons of soup and raised more than a million dollars going toward the Youth Villages Mentoring Program.
We are incredibly grateful to the thousands of loyal Soup Sunday volunteers who have participated in Soup Sunday in the past. Due to the raving feedback from our smaller scale, Soup Sunday 2022, we have decided to move forward with a smaller scale event again this year.
Before volunteering, we ask that Youth Villages volunteers complete the liability and confidentiality waiver. Please also review the event waiver under documents.
Our event volunteers will help at check-in, coat check, voting stations or as servers, kitchen staff, food runners and table and parking attendants. While we cannot guarantee a specific position, we do ask that you list at least three preferences and will take into account any previous Soup Sunday volunteer experience. Please adhere to the Youth Villages Dress Code while volunteering; this includes no open toed shoes or athletic wear. You will also receive a complimentary shirt that we ask you to wear throughout the event.
If you are signing up on behalf of a large group, we would like each member of the group to sign up individually. This aids us in collecting all t-shirt sizes and other pertinent information, including preferred volunteer assignment. Please reach out to Anna Otto at anna.otto@youthvillages.org if you have any additional questions.
