The Campus Kitchen at the University of Kentucky simultaneously addresses hunger and food waste by recovering unused food from dining halls, grocery stores, restaurants, and farms and turning it into meals for local agencies.

At a processing shift, you will be transforming unused food into usable meal ingredients. Students will chop, cook, and freeze foods that will later be used to create healthy meals. No prior cooking experience is necessary!
