Starry Nights at Shelby Farms Park is a bright and fun experience, full of lights and holiday magic! This holiday event has been shining brightly for more than a decade, and cruising through the lights is a long-standing holiday tradition for thousands of families. It’s also the Park’s largest annual fundraiser. This year's show promises to be brighter than ever!
Volunteer positions at this event are critical to its success and are an excellent way to give back to ensure that Shelby Farms Park and Shelby Farms Greenline remain clean, green, and safe 365 days a year.
DRESS WARM! **You will be outside for the majority of the shift** You will want to bundle up.
Volunteers are needed to help at Starry Nights with tasks including greeting and interacting with visitors, directing traffic, assisting in the event check in areas, and spreading holiday cheer.
Volunteers must be 13+ for this event. You must be able to complete the ENTIRE shift. This is a night event with late end times, so if transportation is a challenge, we ask that you volunteer at another Park event. If your family is volunteering together, younger volunteers are welcome to serve alongside a parent/guardian.
Starry Nights is a great opportunity for schools, corporate, church, or community groups to volunteer and serve together!
Enter Shelby Farms Park off Walnut Grove (between Farm Road and Germantown Parkway) onto Great View Drive East (GPS address for reference: 415 Great View Drive East) This is also the entrance for Coastal Fish Company and the FedEx Event Center. Please park and check in at the event check in ticket booth in the parking lot of the First Horizon Foundation Visitor Center.
Volunteers must wear a mask or face-covering and the provided safety vest during the entire shift.
After you complete your shift, you’ll be eligible for a voucher to the show. Ask your volunteer manager for more information after your shift.
