About
The Uptown Community Garden will be collaborating with St. Jude's ALSAC, Memphis City Beautiful, and Volunteers from around the city of Memphis for a MLK Day of Service. We will use this day to further the revitalization of the Uptown Community Garden. Our tasks will be the following:
- Assemble Greenhouse
- Install Storage Shed
- Separate Compost Bins
- Make Pallet Planters
- Build/Install Support Structures
- Install Stone Borders/Walking Path
- Fill Beds/Planters with Soil
- Other Miscellaneous tasks
Requirements
If volunteer is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign a waiver in order for volunteer to participate.
