Glean Team - Diverting Food From Landfills

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning we go to two local area harps and pick up produce they have set aside.  This produce would be destined for a landfill, but most of it is perfectly good food!  We weigh the food, compost whatever isn't fit for humans, and then take the food to different organizations. All the food gets taken up and we reduce waste!  We often get several hundred pounds of food each day, so having another person helping makes all the difference!  Help your local food network by reducing waste and getting food to people who need it.
