About

The purpose of the Sales Specialist is to create and implement a sales campaign strategy with the goal of acquiring new sponsors, corporate partners, and community groups that will drive revenue and optimize registrations across fitness campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
The Sales Specialist is responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing sales campaign to reach sponsors, corporate partners and community groups across fitness campaigns
  • Writing and/or editing sales materials such as pitch decks, call scripts, copy for online or print publication
  • Generating leads via warm and cold calls
  • Helping create and advising on pipeline development
  • Attending local networking events representing ALSAC
  • Presenting/training local committees if applicable


Core Skills Required

  • Professional experience in sales, fundraising, or similar field
  • Ability to implement on-brand messaging to support the fitness campaigns
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Results driven
  • Attention to detail


Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with the St. Jude mission (training provided)
  • 3+ years of professional sales experience preferred


Screening

  • Volunteer must complete a criminal background check and interview

Training

  • St. Jude Volunteer Orientation (new volunteers)
  • Brand training and resources will be provided
Minimum age: 18
