Giving blood at CBHS was a meaningful way to help others in need. It made a positive impact on the community because it provided life saving support for people who are sick or injured. This experience showed me how a simple act can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Making sandwiches for the homeless made me realize how small actions can make a big difference. It felt good to help others and know that my time could make someone’s day a little better. This experience taught me to be more grateful and caring toward people in my community.

Today, I participated in the Blood Donation Drive at CBHS. I was thankful for the chance to donate blood and contribute to helping others. Knowinf that my blood went to help another person live is always a great feeling.

The Mid-South Food Bank is a fun place to help other while talking to other volunteers. It feels good to help and be part of a cause. The lady in charge of the service hours was very nice and easy to talk to. I was paired with a much older but very cool volunteer that made the time go bye so much faster.

My second time coming to compass as a freshman was great. The Staff ounce again were great people making you feel welcomed even though me and peers messed up on somethings. Interacting with new and old teachers was a very fun experience. The school helped us with leadership and social skills as what we did required us to interact with students varying in ages. The school helps me grow not just on a social level but also as a person who can show more compassion towards others.

Great fun experience even if it was something so little as helping bring in things for people. It was good seeing them smile and relieve some stress when we got things set up for them at the food station.
