Finally able to witness the movie I had been wanting to see after reading his story when I was just 12 years old. The emotions and intensity of watching the movie were high but it is a reminder of how bad it really was back in those years of Jim Crow.

I never really expected it to be a musical-type movie which threw me by surprise a little bit, especially seeing the actor, Corey Hawkins, who played Dr.Dre in Straight Outta Compton be in the film as Harpo.
