Park and Trail Clean Up in NWA

As we picked up litter, I noticed the variety of items left behind, from plastic bottles to food wrappers, which made me reflect on how easily waste accumulates when people aren’t mindful. At the same time, working alongside others showed the strength of community. Seeing people volunteer their time for a shared purpose reinforced how collective action can make a noticeable difference.

I helped Haley go through the craft and summer camp closet to double-check that everything was in the right place. We organized supplies, made sure items were in their correct bins, and ensured the closet was neat and ready for upcoming activities.

Create a fun and simple pair of binoculars using two empty toilet paper rolls. Start by decorating the rolls with paint, markers, or paper. Then, glue or tape the rolls side by side. Punch a hole on the outer edge of each roll and tie a string through both holes to make a strap. This easy craft encourages creativity and is great for pretend play or nature exploration.
