I am grateful to be blessed enough to have the $40 to donate to help the youth of Orangeburg County. My mother was born, raised and educated in Orangeburg County and I was excited to tell her that I had given back to her roots.
I find it a blessing to be able to give back to my community. By providing a small donation that will help to provide food for those who are in need, warms my heart knowing I was blessed enough to be able to give. I pray that whoever this helps today they will be blessed to be able to give back to continue pouring back into our community.
I love helping in my community. I am blessed to be able to purchase toothbrushes and toothpaste sets to give back to my community. Many people can't afford to purchase the small necessities that many take for granted. My parents taught me to be a blessing is the job of those who are blessed.
I was happy to be able to donate the Easter candy. I wish I could donate the 20 bags as requested but I am grateful to have done ten bags. I hope whoever gets the Jolly Rancher candy truly enjoys it and knows they were given in love and light.
I enjoyed this movie. Actress Viola Davis did a powerful job portraying the leader of an all female warrior army for the Dahomey tribe. The movie showed how she overcame external and internal struggles while still leading with fierceness. The movie made me research to see if it was based on a true story. I was surprised to learn that it was based on the Agojie women. Excellent film.
I am grateful and blessed to be able to donate back to my community. I donated 2 packs of wipes, 1 bottle of body oil, 3 bottles of deodorant, 1 bottle of detergent, and 3 tubes of toothpaste. I am glad that these items will be used by those who will be thankful to have them.
I really liked this movie. It showed that although Katherine Johnson was more than qualified to do her job she was not treated as an equal due to the color of her skin. Ms. Johnson was a brilliant woman who helped cultivate many processes at NASA. Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson were also brilliant and beautiful African American women that are highlighted in the film and their contributions to NASA.
The movie "Till", showed the resilience of Emmett Till's mother Mamie Till during the pursuit of justice for his murder. The actress who played Mamie Till did an amazing job making me feel like I was right there along with her through her heartbreaking ordeal. This movie made me think of Trayvon Martin and his mother and how she used grief to pursue justice for her son.
It was nice getting the chance to write nice things down and I appreciate how we were able to write whatever was on our hearts in some card hearts. It was fun participating in a Valentine's Day activity that could make someone's day.
It was really good and I honestly don't understand why it gets so much hate. Even though it isn't the original, I think this was a quality remake, and the musical element added to the characters in my opinion. Ceily is better than me because I would not have spoken to Mister again, but I'm glad she was able to forgive him and realize how great of a person she could be without him. I found myself genuinely cheering her on when she finally stood up to him. Overall, I loved the movie, the characters, the acting, the songs, the sets, everything. 10/10
