Today at the CSC, I helped clean up and organize the toys and activities in the waiting room for children and families. I also organized various supplies to help keep the space accessible for staff. These tasks are important because they make the space more welcoming/comfortable for families who visit.
I assisted in organizing and restocking the shop with needed supplies, ensuring that community members have access to well-maintained and easily available resources!
I helped organize donations of new toys to support children who visit the Children’s Safety Center!

Today we had snack time, I got to catch up with some of the kids and talk about there thanksgiving break. We then all met together and talked about the coin drive. After they were separated into there groups, today I was with 4th grade. They played a math game on the iPad and then read a chapter of Percy Jackson as a class.
We first had free time outside for a little while to hang out and play. Then we went inside, and everyone separated into their clubs. I was with the cheer club; we practiced the cheers they would do at the Springdale Christmas Parade next weekend! Afterward, they split into groups and worked on learning the script for a commercial they all can audition for. We then went into reading time!
