Over the course of the Spring 2024 semester I spent time gathering items each week and making a couple care packages a week in order to drop off a large amount at St. Vincent Church. I choose to do a large amount and spend so much time and effort driving around gathering materials, making the far drive to the church, and putting together care packages because I always felt guilty only bringing one when I saw more than one person in need. I completed 20 care packages for St. Vincent's church and dropped them off on March 19th. I enjoyed putting together items for people who I know would not only appreciate them but really need them. It is always an eye opening experience to do this with things I take for granted everyday.

I loved putting together a care package for someone in my community and I would definitely do it again!
I loved putting together a care package and knowing that it will help someone in my community is so rewarding! I would definitely do it again!!
My dad's work held a walk in his honor of being one year post heart transplant and held a fundraiser to donate to the hospital he was treated at. I helped plan, set up, and clean up the venue for the "walk at work" along with being responsible for counting money as donations came in.
My sorority in order to raise money for St Jude held an event called flamingo flock, I personally drove around flocking and cleaning up while also assisting in counting money and assigning houses to be flocked. I do not have any pictures of peoples houses for privacy reasons
I attended harvest church, in the beginning of January there was a plane crash killing four elders. My church began to have resources to help the widows of the men who died and so I volunteer and buy groceries and deliver them or help with her children for Emmy Patterson who lost her husband Tyler Patterson.
We made goodie bags for CMNH
My friend Karlie pictured in the middle was enrolled in a pageant with all proceeds going to St Jude, I assisted both her and her mom delivering packages to people who won raffles we put on, and her mom is a photographer so she gave away photoshoots that I helped her with. The picture is from the final ceremony where those enrolled and people who assisted them got to see them model.
