I made cards for kids! Such a fun event!

I volunteered at the 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive from 1-2 and also donated blood after!

I loved hearing from Beautiful Lives Boutique, Canopy NWA, Salvation Army of NWA, and One Community AR! I cannot wait to volunteer with these organizations in the future.

I had a really great time at the Find Your Impact Earth week session and I learned so much! I got to hear from Beth Anne Jones from United Way of Northwest Arkansas, the Beaver Watershed Alliance, and the Northwest Arkansas Land Trust. There are so many amazing opportunities from these organizations as well as an Earth week bingo card I can complete!

I’m so thankful to have gotten the opportunity to donate my blood to those in need and be apart of the largest blood drive in UofA history. I still don’t know my blood type so I’m excited to see my results on the RedCross website!

I joined the zoom meeting for Find Your Impact Session 5: Sustainability. Three VAC partner agencies spoke to students about different volunteer opportunities on and off campus. I learned that I can volunteer by picking up trash from trails and parks, I can remove invasive plants, and help the water shed that supplies our water. I learned that there is a Tsa-La-Gi and Town Branch Trail Cleanup on Saturday November 19th as well that I can participate in. This event will include walking through the trails and picking up any trash that we see. Overall, I learned a lot about different ways to get involved and I thought it was really cool that I could have a trail named after me!
