I had a great time volunteering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank. I got to package many items for families who are suffering from food insecurity and I'm glad I got to play a part in making a difference.
I had a lot of fun making holiday cards for the elderly. I got really creative with making my cards and they turned out so cute!
I had a lot of volunteering for Wheels for Walls. We got to set up the signs, tables, games, and lights for all the participants of this event.
I had so much fun harvesting different things in the victory garden. I learned a lot about the different plants that are in the garden. We harvested plants such as Mint, Efo Shoko, Basil, Tomatoes, Fig leaves etc.
I had so much fun volunteering at the 5k Run. Not only did I get to encourage the runners and walkers. I got to learn how important it is to take care of yourself as far as your body and your overall health.
I had so much fun connecting with my peers while cleaning up areas around the west-end community. It was a really fun experience and I will definitely do it again in the future!
I had so much fun volunteering for Trees of Atlanta! We went down to the Peachtree apartments to help plant trees and we helped pick out invasive weeds from the ground to help the trees grow.
