Last Wednesday, my co-lead and I wanted to meet up with the entire team. We wanted to take the time to highlight the semester because this coming Wednesday night is our last one. We wanted to take the time to thank each one of the team leaders in front of the whole group for and things we have each seen in them this semester. This was something that I am so glad we got to do! We also go to each of the 4 leads crumble cookies to just show our appreciation. Even though it wasn't much, we just wanted to show how thankful we were!

This Wednesday night we got to open up the new building. Throughout the summer and through the beginning of the semester, our church purchased a new building just for college students. It officially opened on October 25th! This was so exciting to all of the girls I was serving over, but also to other University students as well. We had a record number in attendance, but with that, my teams had the opportunity to be a kind face to the people walking in. That night, I reminded everyone that sometimes it's not what you say but how you make them feel. I wanted the environment to be super inviting. I think we did just that. It was a great night.
