HC Coffee Cart - I worked the HC coffee cart during the MC pancake breakfast. The work consisted of serving churros, coffee, and teas to people in the flag room while also having engaging conversations with the customers and other path volunteers about finals. The breakfast was delicious and I finished my time by playing uno with other Path members.

I attended the Plaza De Las Americas and helped with making mangonada for the people. I also got the opportunity to try various foods from hispanic culture as well as learn more about spanish countries in the Americas.
Surveys - Participated in two U of A surveys.
The first survey was about the impact and knowledge over drinking and driving along with having responsible habits while drinking. Questions consisted of topics over behavior of U of A students while drinking, personal morals over drinking, and whether or not safe drinking practice info is displayed effectively around the U of A.
The second survey was about inclusion and sense of belonging on the U of A campus. Questions consisted of topics over personal experiences with belonging on campus, advice on improving a sense of belonging on campus, and what a sense of belonging should look like on a small and larger scale.
Ballot Measure - Did research and voted on Issue #1. This ballot measure was about expanding lottery scholarship funding accessibility to also include vocational-technical institutions as well. I was able to do research over what the measure was, who or what group proposed it, and my opinion on the topic.
Voting- I both registered and went back home to vote in my local election. I was able to go with my mom and encourage the rest of my friends and family to go out and vote as well. The process was quick and easy and there was no line. I also researched most of the ballots and politicians beforehand so that I could make an informed decision
Honors Event - Strategic Networking: Career Launch Information Session
Went to the first session of the Career Launch. We had pizza for lunch and talked about when is the best time to begin the process for networking. We also talked about certain ways to following up with networking such as emailing people (even if you have never met before) and creating a good consist rapport with companies before applying to them. We were given journals to help plan out a process toward making connections, following up on those connections, and ensuring you get a good job with good benefits.
Personal Honors Event - I went to the honors coffee cart during the MC LGBTQ+ History Month lunch. I was able to talk to many people in the room since it was more of a personal space and I was about to meet the new Path GA Marvin there. I also got some of the MC leaders to inform me more about queer history. Had a great time.
Honors Event - Apparel Technology and Design meetings
Created outside of class to help fashion designs integrate technology into their final projects. We have been having regular meeting after class to discuss designs, materials, prep, and planning while experience engineers teach us about the process of coding LEDs along with the safety precautions needed. Have also been meeting with the designers to make sure we are both on pace.
Honors event:
Attended the STEM career fair at the Don Tyson Stadium. I prepared and printed my resume so that I could give it to the companies that I were interested in. At first I was nervous about how it would go but it was engaging to speak with each companies and everyone was nice and understanding that I won't know everything about what to do when I first get to their companies and reassured me that they would teach me everything I needed to know. While some companies let me know they were interested due to them wanting someone coming out of college they still encouraged me to try again next when I'm about to graduate. Overall the experience helped me better talk to companies while selling and advocating for myself.
Participated in the Wellbeing Survey in February. The questionnaire was mainly about how I get to and from school, my life outside of school and how it effects my travel there, and general question about how secure I feel about receiving and maintain food currently. Helped me understand how easy it is for first generation students, POC students, and students from poorer communities to have a harder time maintaining a healthy and balance wellbeing while also doing school.
