Pi Day Recess
I attended the Pi Day Recess where they handed out small pies for everyone who attended. They also had a small contest for who would be able to pie the deans by choosing their favorite Pi Day Fun Fact. I was chosen to Pie Dean Xochitl! :) It was very fun and exciting to be able to pie one of the deans!

Honors College Pulse: Perfectionism
I had the honor to sit down and listen to Dr. Margaret Rutherford discuss the mental health effects of perfectionism. She had interviewed two UARK students to provide their own insights regarding the perfectionism they themselves experienced during their college years. I related to many of her speaking points, especially with those dealing with destructive perfectionism. I truly enjoyed hearing her speak and I also grabbed myself her perfectly hidden depression book and got it signed by her as well.

Survey
The survey I volunteered to participate in asked open-ended questions regarding the concept of well-being and my personal experiences with well-being campus resources. The survey consisted of 8 questions which I answered honestly and was very open about my answers. These answers will provide accurate information to UARK professionals about real experiences within the well-being resources on campus.

Soup Sunday
I had the wonderful experience volunteering at Soup Sunday at the Rogers Convention Center this semester. I met six very interesting individuals who volunteered to be soup judges for the Golden Ladle Award. Many of the judges had their very own food critics blog and were solid critiques for food. I was excited to try all the variability of all the soups available. My volunteering role consisted of acquiring six soups from each station and bringing them to the judges table for them to taste. I was upset that I didn't get to try the winning soup.
I volunteered today with a group at Habitat for Humanity. I visited a house at 314 E 11th St, Fayetteville, AR. I was asked to help with putting up drywall in the home. I was given a pouch, gloves, and a drill. I was taught how to measure, cut, and screw on drywall. I was mainly helping out with screwing on the drywall to the studs and learning the best approach to screwing on drywall.

Path Retreat Student Panel
I volunteered in a student panel to discuss my college experiences and encounters with imposter syndrome. I talked about my encounters both off and on campus, how I combat imposter syndrome, and advised those struggling with imposter syndrome. I also participated in the "Cross the Line" activity.
I helped paint the entire office. We were served donuts and hot chocolate. The painting was very easy as we had many rollers and brushes. There were few minor touchups that needed to be done.
Breakfast was very yummy. Staff were very helpful.

Beaver Watershed Alliance Office Painting
I assisted in painting the office of the Beaver Watershed Alliance. I was provided with all the tools needed to paint. I painted with a roller, then went back with a smaller roller to get the small crevices, and finished it off with a brush to get the super fine details on the walls.
