    Alternative Breaks Program

The service trip to Dallas that was based on food insecurity was an eye-opening experience for all the volunteers involved. It provided an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by people who struggle to access nutritious food on a daily basis.

The event was not only about providing immediate relief to those in need, but it was also about creating awareness about the issue of food insecurity and inspiring action to address the root causes of the problem.

The collaboration between volunteers from different backgrounds and the local community showed that working together can create a positive impact on people's lives. It highlighted the importance of community involvement and the role that each individual can play in making a difference.

Overall, the event was a reminder that food insecurity is a complex issue that requires a sustained effort from all sectors of society to address. The experience of working towards this cause left a lasting impression on the volunteers, and hopefully, it will inspire them to continue to support initiatives that promote food security in their own communities.
