I am in a program called STS Elite. It's a nonprofit organization that helps college students like myself get ready for the workforce. Today I talk to STS middle and high school program called STS Strive. I and four other students from the Elite program talk to middle and high schoolers about life in college. We told them about some of our ups and downs while attending college. We told them what they can expect in college, and the do's and don't in college.

I had a pretty good time during my volunteer hours. What I did was set up tables and chairs for the Top 40 Under 40 events. I put the chair covering on the chairs, set the flowers, the programs, and drinks on the table. I even roll out a piano.
Putting up butterflies in the tree for DACA. Love how the butterflies look on the tree.
I help with the Parent-Family weekend set up. I help pack materials for the family in bags
I did the First-Gen Student Panel. It was a nice experience talking to high school students, and letting them know what to expect at the University of Memphis. I was glad that I was able to help them with any concerned they had.
I really enjoy the St. Jude Walk/Run it was a fun experience with the First Scholars family
