Caroline @ Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center

This was such an impactful experience. The Healing Hearts Child Advocacy Center is devoted to helping children who have been abused in some way, whether it is physically, emotionally, or sexually, and are being displaced from their homes. Part of what they do is provide clothes, hygiene products, blankets, backpacks, etc. for these children when they are in dire need and have gone through a traumatic experience. They call this "Tyler's Closet." As a volunteer, we were helping move their closet from one unit of a building to a different unit. It was a big project that I was happy to help with. Their cause is incredible.

Caroline @ RYLA

This was such a fun experience! It was so great to interact with high school students and to have a part in helping them build their leadership skills. I was actually really nervous to be facilitating at this event because it was something I had never done before. Even though I was apprehensive at first, I ended up having such a good time, and I feel like I learned so much in the process.
