I volunteered for the Tim Tebow Night to Shine Prom! Still one of the best times of my life! I got to be a buddy for the second time and made her feel like a princess all night long! We did her hair, her makeup, and danced the whole night away! I even ran into my buddy from last year!

I volunteer for the Children's Therapy TEAM Mentor ME program. I have a mentee named Kylee. I take her to do things around Fayetteville. On January 13th we went for an ice cream date. On January 20th we spent three hours at the house selling girl scout cookies. On February 10th we had a library day. On February 24th we went and got ice cream and spent some time at the park. On March 10th we went and got a mani/pedi before spring break. On April 16th I surprised her at her school and took her lunch and that evening I also went to her soccer game.
Absolutely LOVED every second of this event. I got to be a buddy/date/third wheel with Katelyn & Stephen & it truly was an unforgettable experience. It was more than just an honor & a privilege to be apart of this night & I believe that events like this need to happen more than just once a year because these kids & their families deserve them.
I volunteered for the "Trick or Treat with the Greeks" event that the Boys and Girls Club had on Halloween. I helped pass out candy as well as play games in the gym with the kids. I had a great time and loved seeing all of the different costumes.
Absolutely loved it. Working with Lauren, her mom, and her grandmother was something that I will never forget. Hearing Lauren's story and becoming more educated about JDRF and type 1 diabetes motivate me to work more for JDRF.
