I have loved volunteering this week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) for ring week! Tabling for this event is rewarding because you get to promote class rings. Class rings are a great way to commemorate a student's time here at the university.
This event was great! It was an awesome opportunity getting to help out at NWAFW. Everyone who volunteered worked together to make sure this event ran smoothly. I filled the dessert bar, constructed the lanyards for the event, and guarded the runway to make sure people did not walk on it during a show.
Tie dye was great! This is one of my favorite SAA events because it's a hand on experience to see what SAB/SAA does for the students here at the U of A.
"The skills exhibited by Brooke include sensitivity to students with disabilities, planning, flexibility, teamwork and interpersonal communication at a professional level with instructors, fellow students and University staff. Brooke has contributed beyond expectation and, in so doing, has made the University a better place to work and learn."-Michael Madakasira, Program Coordinator
I truly enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer at Nutrition Hog! The environment was so accepting and friendly, and time flew by because I was having such a great time. It was great seeing all the customers coming out to support ZTA’s philanthropy: Breast Cancer Education and Awareness.
I enjoyed volunteering and making a purchase at Nutrition Hog in order to give back to ZTA's philanthropy!
Tacos 4 Life was delicious! I always enjoy helping ZTA out through percentage nights.
