We helped host the valentine's day dance at Madonna. We decorated, served snacks, and danced with some awesome kids. This is always such a fun way to give back
I helped facilitate the after school program at Madonna. I helped teach the drama class with students ages 12 and up. We worked on public speaking skills, instruction following, and creativity processes. I volunteered every week all semester. This was a very rewarding opportunity.
We hosted a food drive for community members to donate canned goods. We then took these goods to the food pantry in order to help feed the need.
We hosted the school's valentines dance. We set up, decorated, served food, and had so much fun with the kids!
I coordinated donations in order to benefit Bread of Life food delivery- we delivered food with bread of life in Tipton County. These goods included non-perishables and other items for the holiday season.
We packaged boxes of assorted chips and snacks that will be distributed to organizations across memphis. we also learned about the food bank's plans to expand and serve more people in the coming years
We helped create packages with rewards for the runners of the West Cancer Fight on!
9/11 day of service. Mike let us off from class so that we would be able to go donate canned goods.
We helped sort canned goods, build boxes, and fight hunger. We loved partnering with the Midsouth Food Bank as hunger is very prevalent in our city.
We put on their Valentine's Dance. We helped with decorating, food serving, and just having a fun time with the students there. We can't wait until next year!
