The event I served at is called more than a meal at Idlewild church. I along with other volunteers come to serve meals to those in need. But rather then like a soup kitchen we the volunteers bring them their food serving coffee, water and desserts. We also are able to speak with the guest coming for dinner and join in prayer.
I went to Idelwild church with other students from University of Memphis and served food to the homeless.

I went to the Ronald Mcdonald House Charities and cooked breakfast with my sisters for the families staying there.
I participated in UofM Civic Engagement board's pop-up community service in memory of 9/11. I was able to donate 7 canned goods for a Tigers Fight Hunger food drive as an opportunity to give back by helping other students in need.
