I volunteered in the emergency department at Baptist Hospital. I enjoyed my time assisting the busy nurses with tasks they needed to get done. It was a great learning experience for me, but also felt great to help by using my passion for healthcare. It is humbling to work with patients who are not well. It reminds me to be thankful for my own health and also reminds me of why it is necessary for those who are healthy to give their time to help.

We stood out on Mendenhall Rd to collect donations for the Midsouth Food Bank. People were very generous and excited to give to the food bank, so it was nice and refreshing to see.
I worked the voting table at the end of the haunted house experience. It was a fun way to help raise money for St. Jude.
I volunteered at a blood pressure screening here at the community center to prevent hypertension in the surrounding neighborhood.
I contributed to raise money for the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation! I was a volunteer who dressed up and scared people who entered the haunted house. It was a fun way to hang out with other volunteers and raise money.
I got to go support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of America through attending this fun event at East End Skating.
I learned so much about different plant types and their uses. It was a beautiful, perfect day to be outside weeding and exploring.
I attended Phi Mu's Spaghetti dinner benefitting LeBonheur. It was inspiring to hear a few patients' stories about their experiences at LeBonheur and the amazing help they received.
I was able to help set-up for a Valentine's Day dance for children. It was fulfilling to see these children excited and impressed by the work we did to make the dance beautiful and fun!
It was fun and festive to make the gingerbread houses! It was the first time I’d been to Crosstown Concourse and it’s awesome.
