I learned so much about different plant types and their uses. It was a beautiful, perfect day to be outside weeding and exploring.
I attended Phi Mu's Spaghetti dinner benefitting LeBonheur. It was inspiring to hear a few patients' stories about their experiences at LeBonheur and the amazing help they received.
I was able to help set-up for a Valentine's Day dance for children. It was fulfilling to see these children excited and impressed by the work we did to make the dance beautiful and fun!
It was fun and festive to make the gingerbread houses! It was the first time I’d been to Crosstown Concourse and it’s awesome.
I had an awesome time being near plants and helping out a great cause that benefits the environment. The people were really cool and fun to work with!!!
During this time volunteering, I helped children with their homework. It was fun to share the importance of education with these kids!
I volunteered at the hospital at which my mom works, Baptist Memorial Hospital. I am entering nursing school in January, so it was a great way to see how the hospital functions on a daily basis. I helped the nurses with small tasks, and was exposed to a lot of information.
I got to work Sig Ep's haunted house to raise money for St. Jude.
I worked this event to raise money for the community in Memphis that is fighting hunger. I sold tickets to the event, and this money went straight to Fighting Hunger. I invested my time by volunteering to work this event and serving BBQ to our community.
