I worked along side a nurse in the Cardiac unit. I was able to help patients and their families, by getting them water, food, and other items to help with their comfort. I am very grateful for this experience because it allowed me to get experience in the medical field.

Homecoming Head
I volunteer weekly on Mondays from 1-4pm. I am an "escort volunteer" so I help assist patients throughout the hospital and deliver lab specimens and whatever else is needed to different areas of the hospital. I love volunteering here, I have gotten to personally know many veterans and other hospital employees. I am a pre-nursing major and I plan to join the air force after college, so this is a perfect fit for me.
