Working the Highland gravel classic with MEAT LLC (Medically, Efficient, Athletic, Trainers) was a great experience. Getting to work with the head, Dr. Lauren Poindexter, I learned a lot of useful skills that I can implement in my practice. I got to assist with providing care to both high-level and recreational cyclists. I was tasked with wound care for a number of individuals. I got to see evaluations of musculoskeletal conditions for a number of different athletes as well. Again, working with Dr. Poindexter was a very fun and educational experience.

Honestly, didn't know what to expect when i signed up. But the community coordinator was great- she was upbeat and very friendly. I enjoyed helping out and getting familiar with the main house. All the other participants were great also. Overall I enjoyed my time spent helping out at Tri Cycle Farms.
