Today volunteers were needed to paint several areas of the interior of the building to make the experience for visitors more pleasant. We also moved items such as furniture, lamps, and other home goods to an area of the building where visitors could view them and take what they needed. The experience was a good one and I recommend to any seeking to volunteer. Ernie Conduff is the founding director and he is extremely helpful in letting you know how you can be of service. My experience involved helping to unload items that were donated to LifeSource and organizing them in a manner so that others could locate particular items that they are in need of without any trouble. The experience overall was good and definitely an eye opener to the less fortunate. A good place to go for volunteer work.
