🎨Germantown Public Art Program @ Riverwood Tunnel Murals

Support mural artists by executing larger shapes and areas of flat color, blocking in base layers, and filling in pre-drawn outlined sections with precision. Volunteers will contribute to defining forms by working within established line work and maintaining clean, consistent coverage across assigned areas.

Artists will provide an overview of the process, demonstrate techniques as needed, and assign sections based on comfort level, with ongoing guidance and supervision. This role is ideal for individuals with some painting or art experience who are confident using brushes, attentive to detail, and able to follow visual direction while contributing to a cohesive, large-scale mural.

Volunteers should bring their own water and snacks, as well as bug spray. We will provide aprons and gloves. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear that you are comfortable getting paint on. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early.
