Ushering for "Annie Jr. the Musical" at Germantown Community Theatre

USHERS NEEDED

Volunteer Ushers are the backbone of the patron experience!  Ushers will be assigned a position and role on the night of the performance by the House Manager.

Ushers may be asked to assist in one or more of the following capacities:

• Greeter: Ushers greet patrons, make them feel welcome, hand out programs, and help them find their seats
• Will-Call: Ushers assist the house manager with Will-Call pickup
• Concessions: Ushers assist with serving patrons snacks and drinks.  No alcohol will be served at this youth performance. Previous bar/concessions experience is ideal but not required. 

After a show, Ushers assist with clean up.

Dress is casual but we prefer no holes in pants or branding logos and phrases on tops. Check in at the box office with house manager when you arrive and pick up a volunteer name tag to wear and return it before leaving. 

Ushers are given a brief orientation every time they volunteer.  As a bonus, anytime there are open seats in the house, ushers are invited to watch the show for free. Please let us know if you will not be using this seat or if you'd like to purchase adjoining seats for your friends or family. In the event that a show is sold out, Ushers will be treated as the top of the Waitlist, and, if a seat cannot be provided for the Usher, a voucher for a complimentary ticket to a future performance will be provided instead.
