I had the wonderful opportunity to help promote support for our teachers and students learning online. I was asked to create a graphic for the Panhellenic page to use, so i created two different designs for them to choose from or have. I downloaded an app to give me a good spreadsheet and made sure I had all the correct information to use!! It was a fun and creative way to support my community and the Panhellenic organization.
I have loved getting to tutor elementary and middle school aged girls this semester! School has been challenging this semester with partial virtual learning, but they have been doing so great!
My Alternative Break Experience trip to Cincinnati was definitely one to remember! Although I was working with the homeless population, a community I was familiar with, It was still a great opportunity to get out of my comfort zone! Serving in a city I had never been to with people I barely knew was such an eye opening experience for me, and helped me make some really great friends!
In two hours, I helped pack 200 meals for Million Meal Movement in Indianapolis, Indiana. These meals will go to families and individuals in the Indianapolis area who are food insecure.
We helped host the valentine's day dance at Madonna. We decorated, served snacks, and danced with some awesome kids. This is always such a fun way to give back
During my service at Madonna Learning Center, I helped set up for the dance, stayed for the dance to get to know the children, and help clean up after the dance. It was a very fun event and a fun way to get to serve my community.
While at a leadership conference for Alpha Gamma Delta, we partnered with the Million Meal Movement. This is a non-profit organization in the city of Indianapolis, Indiana. In this service event, we packaged over 200 meals that will go to children and students within the city. It was a great experience and we really got to see the impact we made on the community.
I had such a blast serving at the Valentine's Day Dance! We served food, helped decorate, and the best part was definitely getting to dance with the kids!
Making Valentine's cards with the children at Hope House was truly the highlight of my week! The staff was super helpful and organized.
